Cancellations

Tardiness, Rescheduling and Cancellations:

  • If you arrive late to your appointment your service may need to be rescheduled. This allows us to service each client properly and respect each other's time.

  • We require 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling appointments. 

  • Late cancellations/reschedules may result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the service price.  

  • We understand emergencies exist and exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of the service provider.  

  • Unpaid cancellation fees will result in cancellations of future appointments. 

  • Multiple last minute cancellations may result in being required to pre-payment for future services booked.

 

COVID-19 Safety Policy

Your safety is our top priority.

Please wait 10 days before visiting Skin Essentials if any of the following apply to you:

You are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
You have received a positive COVID-19 test result
You have been exposed to someone who has tested positive or has sypmtoms.

We are happy to reschedule if needed and we do not charge a fee when cancelling due to COVID illness or exposure.

 

Results and Liability

We do all we can to provide the best holistic skin treatments and other services, and use the highest quality professional products, however, due to the many factors beyond our control and the existing individual skin health of each customer, we cannot guarantee results.

There are risks involved with esthetics services. Always disclose any allergies or health conditions you have to your service provider as well as any medications you are taking. False, misleading or lack of information given may lead to undesired results and complications.

Skin Essentials is composed of both employed estheticians and booth renters who are independent businesses operating within Skin Essentials. Independent businesses operating within Skin Essentials hold their own license and insurance and are not employees of Skin Essentials.

Group Appointments

A  non-refundable deposit is required to reserve time for multiple services or for appointments that consist of more than one hour. Group services and some special occasion makeup service require pre-payment in full and are non-refundable. 

 

Product Returns / Other Refunds

  • Skin Essentials is comprised of independent contractors and returns are accepted at the descretion of the technician the product was purchased from. 

  •  In most cases a full refund or store credit is issued for goods that have not been opened and the packaging is undamaged, within 30 days of purchase.

  • Boutique products that cause an adverse skin reaction may be returned within 15 days of purchase for store credit if the item is more than half full.

  • You must have the gift card present or the gift card number to redeem a gift card

  • We are unable to issue refunds for gift cards or service packages.

  • We no longer accept SpaFinder or SpaWish gift cards.

 

Payments

  • Payment is required at time of service.

  • Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit card or debit card

  • Failure to pay on day of service will result in cancellation of all future appointments

Gift Certificates / Gift Cards

  • Gift card or certificate must be present at time of redemption

  • Gift cards/certificates may not be purchased using a gift card/certificate as payment

  • Skin Essentials is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards/certificates

  • Independent businesses who lease space inside Skin Essentials are not required to accept Skin Essentials gift cards/certificates as payment
